4 wheel'n family!

Last weekend we got the opportunity to go to our neighbors/friends cabin. We jumped on the opportunity to hide away in the mountains for a evening. Ethan and Matt loved the 4 wheelers. Matt even fell asleep. Ethan loved that there where so many Rocks all around! The s'mores where moms favorite part and daddy killed a raccoon on the way home! We had so much fun hope to do it again soon! (except for the raccoon part!)

What a birthday!My mom took me and the boys to verge's where we enjoyed the most fabulous club sandwich and fries. Then Michael took me to My favorite restaurant, Macaroni Grill, latter that night where I enjoyed Pasta Millano, and a to die for dark chocolate cake. They even sang happy birthday to me in Italian. Michael wrote the cutest poem on the paper table cloth that read “The food was delicious, the company divine. I couldn't be prouder, happier, luckier, better off, more ecstatic,etc...that you, dear, are mine!” So cute! I also got my orange ipod that I have wanted for a while. Alicen made a pretty cool imitation ipod and tried to trick me with it, it almost fooled me too! Luckily the marshmallows gave it away. The whole Kettenring crew helped fill it with some cash to help me buy the ipod. I also got a gym membership to Kearns Oquirrh Park to help me get in shape and train for my triathlon sprint in June.

The thumb suckers! Matt love to suck but can't keep a binkey in to save is life but every once and a while he will find his thumb and loves it! It keeps him quite and occupined for a while, and since none of my children look like me Im glad they do have some traits of mine. I sucked my thumb until kindergarten!

The End of Goggy...

A story of a boy and his goggy has sadly come to a end. On Saturday April 18th goggy passed away. We went on many errands that day and when we where done we where not able to find goggy. After many phone calls and dedicated search parties we have come to except the sad news. Goggy was a good doggy and will be missed very much.

Doggy Time

I wanted a unchangeable object to take Ethan's pictures with as he grew up. My mom found this great big stuff doggy and i fell in love with it. When Matt was born i found another dog and continued the tradition. Although i was almost perfect with Ethan, taking his picture almost every week this is the first shot i have of Matt posing at 6 weeks. Ethan posing at 18 months. Those with two children find, and can agree with me that getting stuff done is harder than it seems so i hope Matt will forgive me when he gets older.

Happy Easter!
I love dressing the boys already! Ethan and Matt looked sooo cute! We had an awesome Easter egg hunt at grandma kk's house the day before and Ethan went crazy. We gave him his own basket and then pointed to the eggs. He had to Carry his basket with him the whole time and wouldn't let go. It was getting so heavy he had to start caring his basket with two hands. That's when i tried to step in and take a few of his eggs and put them in my basket. When he saw me a few times he was not happy and i had to put them back. He doesn't know what "eggs" are yet but he definitely knows what "balls" are so he called them "ba-balls". Matt slept through the whole thing...lame. At our house the Easter Bunny brought Ethan a whole bunch of outside play toys now that he has a yard to play in. I love Easter, I appreciate the love of our saviour and his anointing sacrifice for us.

Seriously we are the cutest things I've ever seen! I think my boys are just the cutest things in the world. (that includes my hubby!) I figured i would enforce my female side and make my whole family wear pink. That way just because i have boys doesn't me i can't dress up my family. But i will have to wait until i have a girl to use my pink nail polish. Ethan just amazes me every day, he is learning so quickly and is a very good helper. Every time Matt cries Ethan makes sure i know, and goes running quickly to see if he can help, and makes sure Matt is Ok. Matt is showing his own uniqueness already. He downs food like crazy! I'm feeding him 4-6 ounces every two - three hours. Ethan wasn't even eating 4 by this time. I'm doing much better and can't wait until I am recovered enough to get really active.

This is just too cute! We where trying to play the wii fit at my moms house and ethan just kept on trying to get on the board with us so we got a white cutting board out and gave him a remote control and he thought he was so big playing with daddy! It was the cutest thing i've ever seen!

Matthew Joseph Parker

Matthew Joseph Parker has finally arrived. He was due March 5th but decided to come March 6th. Which is a very cool birthday 3-6-9. I Really wanted that date but figured he would come two weeks late like Ethan. The contractions where tough and the epidural was lovely and everything went very well. My doctor is in Mexico so i had another doctor in his practice deliver me and he did a wonderful job. He has been such a good baby! IHC hospital has been very good to us and i hope to be home on sunday. Ethan didn't much care for Matt until he started to cry and at first he thought "oh a toy is making nose and when we took Ethan closer to Matt he didn't want to get near him. Very fun and cute. Thank you all for you love and support We have appreciated it all!

5th year Anniversary

I'm so excited to be celebrating Mine and Mikes 5th year Anniversary! What a exciting and wonderful ride it has been so far. I can't believe that i have found a man like mike. He is extraordinary in every way. We bond in a way that i have never found in any other relationship! He is smart and loving and dedicated. He loves the church and most of all he loves me and our family. He is willing to do most anything for me...yes even dress up for Halloween and spray his hair green for St. Patrick's day. I have even recently persuaded him to wear a pink shirt. He does so much for me and Ethan and i love him for that. In this world where people just give up if things get to difficult in a relationship I just want to thank him for his selflessness and dedication to our marriage and family. I have loved every second i have had with him and will continue to love him throughout eternity! Thank you Mike for choosing me! I love you!

Christmas Trees!!!!

Traditions never die! Every year in the early part of November we wake up at 5 am and drive to Heber to stand in line freezing for a Christmas Tree permit. Then the weekend of thanksgiving we drive back up to Heber/Kamas area to Cut the perfect Christmas Tree! After hours of Hiking, arguing and sweat we usually pick the last tree we see because we've seen a bazillion of them and don't even care if the tree is dead, just cut it down and let's go! This year Ethan was old enough to come our of the car and hike with us...He didn't mind it for the first 5 min, but after that he was in the car with daddy because daddy can't pick out the right Christmas tree...So he makes the 6 month prego mommy go hike up the mountain just to find the perfect Christmas tree 20 feet away from the car. After we cut it down we realized it was kinda dead or dying. We got it home and cut most of the bottom off and Bam! We got a really good looking tree. Most the time we all think we have charlie brown trees, but after we get them home and dress them all up they are always fantastic trees! I'll have to post some pictures of it when we get it decorated!Afterwards we all went out to eat at the only "Authentic" Diner west of the Mississippi! I'd give the food a 4 out of 10 and the fry sauce a 11 out of 10! I'd go there again just to get the fry sauce! Hmmmmm.....Sooooo.....GOOOOD!

This year for thanksgiving we where with Michael's family. Instead of bowling or even going to see a movie we choose a different activity then most...WE WAXED NOSES!!!! HEHEHEH!!! I love doing waxing and waxing nose hair is the best! I know most of you are think oh my gosh, the pain, the torture, but really it doesn't hurt that bad. Once again your thinking I'm crazy and this picture is fake but honestly waxing your nose hairs hurts less than anyone would believe. Wanna try it give me a call! hehehe!

Ok, he gave up at the end and wanted to go inside but he had a fun time anyway for a while!

I also found out that shoveling snow Isn't as much fun when your prego and the snow is heavy. But we chose to live North facing so you have to do what you have to do to keep it clear of ice!

Hard Times...

So Many of you may know what has been going on in our family and others may have no clue, for those who have asked here is what is going on. My Sister in law has left my brother in law. She has decided she is no longer happy in her current situation and needs to go and find herself. This has brought on allot of stress and hardship on the family. I hope that their four kids that we all love will make it though this situation without much damage from either side. We all still love her and hope the best out come for both parties. With that said what I'm about to write is not because of one person or one specific couple. I have 3 people friends and family who are currently going through a divorce for all reasons that they are working out. Also this whole Proposition 8 thing is driving me crazy. So with all of this going on this is my opinion about life and love in general.

In these last days I can totally see the second coming on the heals of tomorrow! This world is completely selfish and mean! It is all about me, me, me! The family definition as a whole is changing and i hate that! I am so glad that i have a iron rod that i can hold on to and know that that will never lead me astray. I am so glad that i have the church to guide me and direct me. I appreciate the family proclamation and stand behind it 120%. I am so glad that i know who i am, i know my plan that has been set for me. I know i have had promises that have fulfilled and promises that are lying in store for my life if I choose to keep my life in order to receive them. I am so glad for a grateful and wonderful husband who puts the lord and his family first. I know i am not perfect but i do know the things that are important in this life and i know that i have made covenants and promises to people and the lord that i am not willing to compromise in anyway possible.

I think that gratitude is the key to success. We can criticize as much as we like but in the long run if we think of how much that has been done for us, and how much we can do for other people I think there is the key to happiness. If we all start thinking about others instead of ourselves which i understand is hard to do all the time or sometimes even at all, i think there we will find ourselves and appreciate the world around us.

The Devil Family!!!!!

I sometimes call Ethan the "Devil Child" So i figured it would be the perfect Halloween Costume

My mom made this awesome prego costume just for me! She's the best!
The shirt is really reflective but it has flames on it! I was Hot! Hot! Hot!

This is my psycho little brothers costume...he's nuts!
Him and his friends did a hunted house and it was the best! It was free and about 5 min long. It was as good as any real expensive hunted house I've ever been to!

A story of a Boy and is Goggy!

This is how most often i find Ethan sleeping. Cuddled up to his Goggy! (That's doggy in Ethan's language) We went to the D.I. One day and passed the stuffed animal shelve. He started screaming and pointing to one of the stuffed animals and figures. So i kept grabbing one and he'd scream and throw a fit cause it wasn't the right one. When i finally got the dog he grabbed it and wouldn't let go. This was the best $1.50 i have ever spent. He cuddles with it during the day and he always sleeps with it whether it be just a nap or for the night. When he wakes up he's holding it and before he will let you pick him up he makes sure that he has it with him. It's so cute...but i have to wash it like crazy because he's a slobbery kid!

We are expecting another little baby boy around March 5th 2009! We are soooooo excited! I thought for sure it would be a little girl. I was a bit disappointed but these two boys will hopeful be the best of friends...or fight all the time, but what kids don't. I'll just have to have a secret day where i can dress them both up as girls!!! Well wish me luck!
